Privacy Policy

ST HELENS RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION PRIVACY POLICY

The St Helens Residents Association is committed to keeping your personal data secure.  The only electronic data that we hold on our members, for the purpose of our mailing list, is an email address.  We use this only to contact members with newsletters, notice of our meetings, and information relevant to the work of the Association.

The Association does pass on email addresses to third parties.  We do not charge a membership subscription, and so do not use third party arrangements such as Paypal or banks which might require such information.

Protecting your data

The security of your email address is as strong as the security systems provided by a major email service (currently AOL).   We are careful in securing password access to the Association’s AOL email account.

Unsubscribing for our mailing/membership list

You can ask to have your email address removed from our mailing list at any time, by emailing a request to sthelensassn@aol.com

Data Protection Register

As a not-for-profit and unincorporated association, there is no requirement for the St Helens Residents Association to be included in the ICO Data Protection Register.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the most recent revisions will appear on this page on our website www.sthelensresidentsassociation.org.uk
